Got Dibs

Rename it. Nothing else changes.

On other launchpads a coin's name is set in stone. When the real name shows up, someone launches it and flips your holders. On Got Dibs the creator's wallet holds the name, so the original becomes the name.

Three steps.

  1. Launch your coin.

Free. One signature. Your wallet holds the name from block one.

  2. A better name shows up.

The dog's real name. The meme everyone's posting. It happens.

  3. Rename it, nothing else changes.

New name, ticker and image. Same holders, same chart, same liquidity.

Who holds the name

Every coin's name, ticker and image live in its Metaplex metadata account. Whoever holds that account's update authority can change them. On Got Dibs, that's the creator's own wallet, from the block the coin is created. Got Dibs never holds it and never signs for you.

Check it yourself: open the coin on any Solana explorer, find its metadata, and compare the update authority to the creator's wallet. Every coin page links straight to it.

Nothing gets hidden

A rename is a public transaction. Every coin page shows its full name history, newest first, with the old name, ticker, image and the transaction. The Renames page lists every rename on the platform, forever.

Old names stay searchable: search $BITCOINDOG and you land on the coin now called $SUSHI. Renames made straight from a wallet are picked up and marked too.

Graduation

Coins start on Meteora's bonding curve. When the curve fills, the coin graduates to a Meteora pool with a 1% fee, and all its liquidity is locked for good. The creator keeps the name after graduation and can still rename.

Snipers pay you

For the first 30 seconds the fee starts at 20% and steps down to 1% in 10 steps. Bots that buy in the first block pay the creator and the $DIBS burn. Your own dev buy in the launch transaction pays only 1%.

The fees, worked out.

Free to launch. 1% on every trade: 0.40% to the creator, 0.40% to the $DIBS buyback and burn, 0.20% to Meteora.
